On Saturday 2nd December we welcome Barry’s Boptet to our studio (Lange Poten 27) for a special social swing dance!
The band features a swinging frontline all the way from the UK, Lewis Taylor on trumpet and Liam Byrne on tenor saxophone. They are accompanied by Jack Kinsella on guitar, Tomek van Leeuwen on bass and Tijn Koenen on drums. Expect songs from the 1930s and 1940s by bandleaders such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Chick Webb. This is the band’s only performance for swing dancers in the Netherlands, so don’t miss it!
In-between sets there will be a DJ so you can keep on dancing!
We provide free drinks and snacks and you can bring your own!
