Get ready to step back in time to experience the infectious energy and joy of swing dancing from the 1920s, 30s and 40s!
All swing dances are characterised by groove, syncopated rhythm, swing feel, close connection to music, improvisation, celebration of community, along with freedom of self-expression. They are danced mostly to swing jazz music and bring joy and freedom to people of different races, nations, genders, ages, and beliefs. Listen to the music, feel and move your body, connect with others, and smile!
