On Saturday 18th May we welcome back Barry’s Boptet to our studio (Lange Poten 27) for a special social dance!

Tickets: €15 (incl VAT, workshop, soft drinks and snacks)
The band features a swinging frontline all the way from the UK, Lewis Taylor on trumpet and Liam Byrne on tenor saxophone. They are accompanied by Jack Kinsella on guitar, Ties Laarakker on bass and Tijn Koenen on drums. Expect songs from the 1930s and 1940s by bandleaders such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Chick Webb. This is the band’s only performance for swing dancers in the Netherlands, so don’t miss it!
Else will give a Solo Jazz workshop before the social dance, more info to follow!
In-between sets there will be a DJ so you can keep on dancing! Free drinks and snacks will be provided, you can also bring your own.
