We invite you to have a talk about the history of Lindy Hop with Katie Cobalt, who is famous for her history talks on ILindy platform. From Katie: Lindy Hop is a Black dance and as guests in this culture it’s important and fascinating to look back and see those who came before us. In this talk we will be looking at some vintage clips and I will share stories about the people who created this dance and culture we all love. This is a chance to humanise the pioneers and to celebrate the people who paved the way for us to swing out today.
Because we consider this topic extremely important, we ask a symbolic price for the participation. Tea and snacks will be provided.
