The “Mama’s Stew” is a classic solo jazz dance routine in the swing and lindy hop communities, not a daily life schedule or a recipe. It was originally used as a warm-up by Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers and later adopted and performed by Louise “Mama Lu” Parks and her dance company, the Mama Lu Parks Dancers.
We plan to perform this routine in Amare on December 10. You can join the performance if you already know the routine and don’t need to take the workshop. You are welcome to come after 20.00 to practice (free).
Teacher: Rachel
Date and time: December 8, 19.00-20.00 (with 30 mins practice)
