Solo jazz explorers

Solo jazz is about feeling the music, rhythm, your own body and having fun dancing with others. We will explore, improvise, and work out together!

This course is for you if

You’ve had about 1 year of solo jazz beginner classes.
You should be comfortable with improvising solo jazz on the spot.
You are familiar with basic moves like: charleston variations, half breaks, full breaks, and fall of the log.
You can do the Shim Sham
You know parts of other classic routines like first stops, trickeration, mama stew, or tranky doo.
You have practised with replicating and creating rhythms.
You’re willing to show things in class to other students.
