Improve your turns!
The most commonly used turn is the lock turn with a spin, but we can turn in many different forms. We can turn spinning, grooving, or even with some rhythms, which is one of the main essences of jazz music and dance. In this workshop, we’ll explore these different concepts and get introduced to different rhythms and shapes to incorporate into our turns and try some new entrances into the turns.
Basic solo jazz vocabulary is sufficient to participate, and curiosity to explore turns😊
